How does Hatha Yoga compare to other forms of yoga?

The term "Hatha yoga" refers to any of the  physical practices of yoga, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and most other styles we practise today are in fact forms of Hatha yoga. In the West we generally interpret it as a gentle, relaxing approach, which makes it good for beginners.

Hatha yoga uses postures, breathing techniques and relaxation to help you stretch, unwind and release mental and physical tension. Taking Hatha yoga lessons on a regular basis can help overcome stress, strengthen and rebalance your body, mind and spirit.

Why choose Body Sync Jersey?

Have you ever juggled with the idea of trying Yoga but never quite known where to start?

Are you put off by a perceived lack of flexibility?

Do you think it might be embarrassing?

Perhaps you dislike the idea of a crowded class and prefer a more personal session focussing on the needs of the individual?

Does your lifestyle not allow you to commit to a regular weekly session?

Is doing yoga in the confines of your own home just sound more appealing?

If you have answered yes to one or more of these questions then we can help you.

At Bodysync Jersey we offer one-on-one sessions, adapting yoga techniques to focus on your concerns, addressing any health issues or past and present injuries. Agnes will design a 60 minute session for your body and then take you through it, showing you what to focus on whilst holding poses. How to adjust to obtain the proper alignment of your body. All aimed at helping you get the most benefit out of your routine whilst protecting yourself from any risk of further injury.

Please note we do not take online bookings for Yoga. These sessions need to be arranged in person or by emailing Agnes directly.
