A little about Agnes

Agnes’ commitment to looking after the health of others stretches back almost twenty years, from the time she first worked in a hospital as a student in Germany. Finding that caring came naturally to her, Agnes took a strong interest in those she was responsible for, understanding them as people, not patients. 


Whilst she saw many different types of illness and suffering, what struck Agnes the most was the sheer number of seriously ill people whose conditions were caused by lifestyle stresses and exacerbated by their having ignored the early warning signs. She also saw that recovery can be challenging. Once your health deteriorates, it can be a very long and difficult process to get it back.


These observations convinced Agnes of the need for all of us to invest in our own health and to live active lives that prevent rather than encourage illness. Practices as simple as healthy eating and regular exercise can make an enormous difference, reducing stress and anxiety and helping us all live more contented and healthy lives.


Agnes has been practising massage since she first completed a Swedish massage course in 2008. Since then she has constantly sought to learn more, culminating in her professional qualification as a sports masseuse. 


Aware of the need to take a holistic approach to wellbeing, Agnes is also an accomplished yoga instructor and practitioner who understands that the two elements of her skills provide complementary benefits to her clients.

Agnes’ philosophy is clear and simple: 


“Be kind to yourself, listen to your body's needs and act when it tells you. When you feel good about yourself, life becomes easier.”


It is never too late to start living a healthy lifestyle. Our bodies are marvels of nature but they are not machines and do need to be looked after. No matter how old you are, your health can be maintained or improved by treating your own body and mind with a bit of understanding and care.
